We are Larry and Dot. Hughes

We live in the small town of Gibsonville, North Carolina. Gibsonville is located in the piedmont section of North Carolina. We lived on the same street, but never dated until after I entered the Air Force. In 1953 we were married, and four years later our first child, Ronald was born. We have three other children, a boy Dale, and twin daughters LuAnn and Julia. We now have eleven grandchildren.

We are both born again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, but we were not always Christians. People do not come into this world Christians, you must have a personal relationship with the Lord. You enter into this relationship when realizing that you are a guilty sinner before a Holy God, you receive His Son by faith as your saviour. It was not until we were married that we became believers. We fellowship with other believers at Ireland Street Chapel in Burlington, North Carolina.
